To hear the once who were foreign intruders complaining of foreign army intrusion is political hypocrisy for those of us who has been there and how it devastated the socio- political landscape of our nation to this day, the players are the same just switching sides talking the same language (war) when things don’t go their way, the victims always the poor people who can’t read between the lines of today’s party slogan, what goes around comes around, it might take time but the Lord have his subtle ways of making us taste our own medicine, who is going to bleed this time?, who is going to be displaced?, whose childhood is gonna be stolen?, .. and who is gonna be a widow left with orphans she can’t support.. it is a spiraling vicious circle and locust blankets the landscape .. the Almighty is saying something, if you are God’s nation and the sole proprietor of the Arc of the Covenant, behave that way and listen to Him, and please this time around hands off Eritrea once and for all and the chips will fall where they may, you never know we can be BFF.
This is what we’ve been saying all along until our mouths bleed. This is not a war that is only confined to Tigray region, but rather a war that is designed to advance the the long hidden agenda of the traitor DIA and the secretly concocted Accord in Jedda. The choices are stark(death/life) for us as Eritrean both as a nation and people. we won’t allow this traitor to hand over our sovereignty (earned through sacrifice) to Abiy Ahmed on silver plate. No matter how grim the situation is and whatever the course of the circumstances on the ground, we can ride this political storm, if we defy fear and confront the enemy
It is time for our civilian population to exploit the vaccum created in bigger cities by the movement of large troops to the border to topple the regime in Asmara. Making Eritrea ungovernable requires courageous actions such as: a) breaking the covid-19 order and occupying all the streets, Hgdef police stations and media outlets b) storming all prisons, overpowering prison guards and freeing prisoners c)ransacking all Hgdef financial/commercial institution and warehouses(food/clothing). An uprising and political upheavel by the civilian population is crucial in provoking the EDF to turn their arms against the DIA and his stooges.
We should encourage people inside the country to take whatever steps they can to topple the brutal dictatorship. But, and I say this with pain in my heart, we are not used to stand together and talk to our oppressors with one voice. For some strange reasons difficult to explain, we miss the word solidarity in our dictionary.
May God bestow his blessing on our beloved Eritrea.

Hgdf is a group of maphias whose activities are to demorise and doom the Eritrean population. Thus can not be equated with woyane. Though I have reservations with Woyane they are far better than Hgdf.
This war will not continue negotiations will solve it soon, for Ethiopians are at home unlike Eritreans evicted from their home and are outside of their homes.

“This war will not continue negotiations will solve it soon, for Ethiopians are at home unlike Eritreans evicted from their home and are outside of their homes.”
Hmmmm……. So, the Genius Scholar of the Highest Calibre Debretsion started a WAR against Ethiopia!!!!!!! Will he be around to the END to face the CONSEQUENTIAL? Hmmmm ….. we shall see.
Sad to see and hear war again in and around Ethiopia. Sad to see lessons of the last many years and decades of devastation from war has not gotten to some people with good heads Ethiopia. Including those places over there other side of Red Sea.
Getting to my point however. The war in Ethiopia seems like a war of husband and wife. As both the wife and husband, when quarreling and fighting, use outsider to stay in power and pretend to stay in good grounds by simply ignoring their own fault. It is hard to find a good source of information until the actual reason for this war is understood. After doing some reading on few articles there are plenty but one of them seems to stand out as the source of contention is the Election. Legally the Ethiopian federal government seems to have a weaker hand/standing on this. Many countries are doing elections and COVID19 seems just an excuse. Too if the accusation by Ethiopian leaders of the Tigrai leaders is true, inciting fights an violence on the South, then that is also sad and needs to be punished. One thing is clear, as I am really involved and have learned plenty, about this corner of the world is the fact that how many times the hands of the players change positions. Starting from the 1840’s. Yohanes IV against Tedros; Minilik against Yohannes; then the late Emperor Hailesilase and on how he came in to power in the late 1920’s. Then comes the Dergu vs the Eritrean and Tigrai independent fighters. Then comes Mr Isayas’s game. From what I gather Mr Isayas played his hand too and working with Tigrai figters kicked the Other Eritreans front; followed by the Tigrai teaming up, in the 2000’s against Mr Isayas to keep Mr Isayas in jail house. Now the cards have changed and Mr Isayas, out of the Jail house, is joining central government of Ethiopia and going against his buddies in arms. Well, Knowing the game of chess is always refreshing. But also dirty hands are always caught and thrown out of the game eventually. I am just saying.
I just want to make a point here, many Ethiopian medias and Ethiopians are speaking of this interesting phrase these days – “Ethiopian army against Tigrai army” which I find it interesting as it somehow implies Ethiopia has already began cracking to many shall I say? I am for one Ethiopia and that would be very sad. Maybe I am just reading too much in to it.
Looking for outsider or shall I say a catalyst that is causing the fire in Ethiopia to explode is easy. Just look up north wards from Ethiopia. That would be the leader of the country to the North. Our nation of Eritrea. Mr Isayas’s hands are in this and the result is potentially another “Somali” in Ethiopia. Mr Isayas’s hand leaves any country he is involved in disarray. Somali in a mess. Ethiopia in another mess. Sudan, all sort of mess. DJoubti , Mr Isayas would not dare because he would find a real taste of punishment.
Next it will be the Oromia region that will take it up. They are in “building and preparing stage” until a leader is switched. That will come soon as every leader has his or her limited terms.
I wish and hope they find a common ground to come to peace as well as leave occupied Eritrean territory free so people could have a life again.
It is with a heavy heart to hear this winds of war blowing again in our doorstep among brothers, but for those who are not related to us, it is like a combat game in Play Station-4 while they bet on who will win the contest and sell their killing toys to us to wipe out each other and after the dust settles they swoop in clear our corpses with bulldozers and ransack our natural resources and throw a few $$ to the local victor. This has been the story of the dark continent as far as the memory can recall. Would there be a time when we as Africans will make peace with ourselves and see the strength and potential in us keep and exploit our natural wealth to ourselves and giveaway the leftover to others who from outside looking in. Where are the visionary leaders, where are thou?!! Abiy and his buddy are not looking beyond their well groomed goti and moustache except executing orders from outside and gate keeping for them to come in as usual. It is a vicious cycle designed for us to stay in. A glorious sun rises tomorrow here where I reside and crimson sun sets in Eritrea and the saga continues…
I am not a believer of Karma and don’t care much of these superstitious world. For some unexplained reason we are all here and one after the other we will be checking out to whatever world we all might think. But for those who are Karma believers this event playing now within Ethiopia might be just what they speak of as Karma. Many Eritreans got kicked by the former rulers in Ethiopia with no mercy (I am sure it has more than just being kicked I am just saying as a matter of fact). Well, perhaps this is Karma working now if there is such thing called Karma the former leaders are in a sort of a box.
Another point- those who are still preaching of Colonial systems have caused Africa pain I say not true. We just cannot keep blaming Colonial powers continuously. At some point Africa needs to walk up from what African’s do to themselves and not use it as an excuse. If people with a decent head on their heads could work together to a common goal and be happy with what they could own and utilize, colonial powers would not play a role. African’s if I may say “worship” them and get burned. First, have respect and pride on what we have and what we could do with what we have then outsiders would not dare. If Africa keeps the door open to the rest to walk in and play chess then that is what Africa gets.
We just cannot keep blaming Colonial powers continuously. At some point Africa needs to walk up from what African’s do to themselves and not use it as an excuse.
But again, we just cannot go on saying for 1000 years it is the Colonial powers. It is the same as a drunk person blaming a display of liquor in a store that keeps his or her addiction of alcohol to maintain the bondage over the persons. Nations have interest and that will not change. Same as the messy hands are all over Ethiopia’s internal civil war. What is deterrent would be is to stop blaming and find a way out of it. If a house is divided then any power could play a game. As simply a nation of 5-million people has a divided tribalism and segments and sections…We don’t need to wonder too far to see why a “drunken men” in Africa and the horn of Africa are their own mess. At times, it is good to re-think the road. Or if that is your excuse for Africa then every “drunk men” in Africa should be excused to go on free. They are also a victim of your reasoning I would think.
