Humble Commentary,
I am overwhelmed by the details in the dissertation.
I am full fledged Eritrean by any criteria. I have never been so shocked about the extent of “ugliness” that turned out to pop-out over that beautiful Eritrea that many used to admire and citizens living abroad used to be proud of. I am mindful that Eritrea was attracted by envious forces of every stripe for seemingly time immemorial — the dark side of Eritrea.
Now, to the Author of the Book. In my opinion I admire Dr. Habte Hagos for coming out with such detailed book, appealing to the World for help. YES, appealing to the World, not restricting himself to Eritrans ONLY. But in a sense it is an inherent CHALLENGE to US ALL >>> ERITREANS. He poured his ‘heart’ out for his country that he loved and came out with a plea. What else can one is expected to do beyond that. And then, the cardinal sensitive question follows: CAN WE ERITREANS GET TOGETHER, IN ONE MNID SET, AND LIBERATE THE ONLY AND ONLY ONE ERITREA?!? It is a glaring question. If we are dedicated to Eritrea, that is the only one, and only one, question that we need to answer. Outside of that obligation, it is — let us be very frank — separation of groups based on sociological differences that existed under the ‘carpet’, which is smelling some sort of nasty odour.
WHAT WILL IT BE? Dr. Habte Hagos has done his part, admirabley. The World shall see the extent of dedication response of Eritreans for ONE Eritrea.
The fate of the treacherous and kleptomaniac woyane is a foregone conclusion. The Mighty Young EPLFs have done a superb job putting woyane in a cage from which there is no exit.. Those sellout Eritreans who are unashamedly calling for sanctioning Eritrea for defending itself are nothing but traitors. The genuine Eritreans must know that these traitors are being groomed and financed into this unfathomable pit by none other than those who, in the fifties, unjustly locked up Eritrea with Ethiopia in sham federation as a prelude to its final annexation to Ethiopia. Post independence, the same people encouraged and supported woyane not to implement the Final and Binding decision of the Eritrean Ethiopian Border Commission. Without an iota of evidence, simply accepting the lies woyane perpetrated, they of placed Eritrea under economic and military sanction for decade; they build UNHCR in tigrai, very close to Eritrean border, in order to lure Eritreans to leave their country. With all these and many other unjust measures, their evil intention was to bring about the demise of Eritrea but of course in vain. Unfortunately for them, Eritrea did not succumb and will never succumb. On the contrary, it was their proxes, Haile Selase, Mengistu Haile Mariam and now, woyane, who succumbed. I think these people should come to their sense accepting Eritrean Sovereignty. Hiring Eritrean traitors and neighbors will never affect Eritrea. She is here to stay for ever. Odds do not diminish Eritrean resolve but enhance it.

It is a concisely crafted piece of a document by the son who knows his country very well.
This killing enterprise with its headquarters in adi halo today which claimed its first Eritrean victim in A’ala, Akeleguzay and eventually emerged with a popular name and logo as its vector is not new to the Eritrean political arena… if we have acted early and decisively and nip it at the bud then while the voices of wisdom were advising us, we wouldn’t have Don Corleone and company making a deal with Al Capon and going after Rizo Toscani making our homeland hell on earth today.

A daughter calls her mother in Russia from a bomb shelter in Mariupol, ‘we are getting slaughtered by the Russian troops’, in horror, mom retorts, ‘ I don’t think so, they are coming to free you from the Nazis.’ Last year on the other side of the world an Eritrean daughter places a call home from a refugee camp in Ethiopia, ‘dad, the (Eritrean) army is here pillaging and ransacking us…’ pleads sobbing, father retorts, ‘hasawit woyane iyom’… notice the resemblance? the difference is the former happen to be 50 shades lighter.
CNN’s Fareed was grappling to give this info war a name the other day, despite his intelligence, he failed to read HGDEF’s playbook.

The capital looks like an abandoned graveyard today, its residents use improvised rickety carrossa to get around and almost half of the population have fled the country in every means and direction they can find, the sad thing is there is no trains waiting in the border to transport them to a safer destination. The people are beaten down to delirium like the losing fighter in the octagon, way after the game was waived over, they keep swinging at the wrong target– the referee. Eritrea is a special case study like I said before.
In Ukraine, despite facing this military juggernaut of enormous power which can wipe you from the face of the earth, the people have demonstrated to the world that bombs don’t win a war, people do.

Last but not least, Alena Media, had a segment titled ‘Hizbawi Ginbar mendil…’ he was right on the money, but he falls short like many of his counterparts mentioning the mother organization who died during a long grueling labor delivering the vector to her demise.
