Is this our trade mark? are we destined for this destitute depiction around the world?, is poverty, hunger and being a refugee our way of life? are you the phony people who clown around with fake eyelashes and painted eyebrows in tic-tok and display a flag of a fake nation which chewed and spat you out like an old safa? shame on us people, the world is watching.. do me a favor today, just read yesterday’s Navalny speech from a Russian prison, then again if Bitweded’s iconic speech in your own mother tongue can’t jerk you into action what will??? Keep seeking that elusive asylum and playing victim to the host and turn around and tell them you are a proud Eritrean. For God’s sake folks can we speak the truth for once, it is liberating— try it.

The above sixteen insightfulness words are equivalent to sixteen thousand words.
It is with deep sadness that I would say this >>> WE ERITREANS are not capable of facing THE TRUTH of our realities.
But I should add, in all sincerity, that Eritreans are the most trust worthy, hard working, in many fields of endeavour, well beyond their beloved Eritrea and the envy of other societies that they come across. There was no boundary to their intermingling with others and display efficiency, honesty, capability on any undertakings that they are engaged upon.
But alas! don’t ask Eritreans, in peace time, to come together in one unit, for one common interest and one goal on a common subject matter of crucial importance !? (1) The strange inherent characteristic comes out to play.!?!?!? It is bizzare.
Why? We all know why. And in ‘OUR WISDOM, we prefer and decide to have eighty to ninety groups on the same pretext to save Eritrea from an indigenous absolute dictator — who knows the character of Eritreans inside out. Proof: The dictator survived for THIRTY (30) years (and still going strong) after being a leader of the famous liberation front for thirty years (1961 to 1991). That makes it very difficult for a bystander to fathom the character of the Eritrean. As the saying goes, may the Good Lord, up somewhere in Heaven, decide to spray a little wisdom upon his hard working creatures, baptized as ERITREANS. THE END

Footnote:
(1) How could we forget the war between two brethren in a simultaneous war against a common enemy?!?!?! It would be impossible to believe — had it not occurred in our life time,
Devine intervention indeed rezen. Today’s Eritrea assumed an ego and alter ego of the joker who resides in adi halo- ‘degeftin’ ‘teqawemtin’,the former a blind and devout worshippers of their mentor and the latter divided into 101 political kiosks trying to sell the same product rendering it cheap and unmarketable, in the meantime the senior Casanova keeps reinventing himself and sharpening his survival skills by leeching unto new power brokers in the neighborhood even if it takes by altering and desecrating the sovereignty of our nation that was achieved by the blood of her sons and daughters. Stop the war in Tigray!? how about the over half of a century old drone-less, tank-less and rocket-less silent protracted war against my people, you don’t have to speak for Tigray, there is war there because they are fighting back, a phenomena which is alien to Eritrea, the capo told us ‘go to Mars’ we complied, ‘go to where the water is’ we trekked then he finished it off by smothering us with the words ‘aykesernan’ and we listened with our mouths agape. Shamez on us. The fallen must be doubling over in their graves.

Eritrean Refugees
With absolute SADNESS, I wish to add the following to the above exchange on OURSELVES.
a) Eritrean population = 3,546,421 in 2020 [Google].(1)
b) 200,000 are in Ethiopia out of which 90,000 are in Tigray. c) 400, 000 are scattered around the Globe, squabbling among themselves. d) Ethiopia announces that it is closing Eritrean refugee camps in its province Tigray .
e) And so the PROUD people of Eritrea are PONIES in international chess game —
seemingly as always.
f) And, so goes, the TRAGEDY of the hard working, faithful, people of Eritrea being
goaded to oblivion by their own revengeful Leadership with the quasi acceptance of
significant part of the population — inside and outside the country.
g) I solemnly stand to be corrected and helplessly insulted — the usual psychological
trade of modern day Eritreans which happens to be translated as a hidden trait of its
own eternal weakness.
AMEN, with apology for being crude in my sentiment.

(1) Please take the subsequent numbers with a ‘grain of salt’ as statistics are just for the ‘birds’ in our beloved Africa.
