The animosity is invalid reason for conflict between these two people that is suggested by by this man
the the animosity was carried out by Eritrean and Ethiopian government but not by the people of tigray and Eritrean and are not responsible for animosity took place on both sides but by the government of Eritrea and Ethiopian old government .
Many of the Eritreans did waste golden moments and tried to ignite side talks going back to the “norm” history lesson. However this discussion was not all that bad; a couple Eritrean guests (not sure what their names are) saved the day. Both these men stated hold off going back in history to state what happened during Alula and all the history. I am a firm believer on bringing forward a true history (including the pain of the liberation time) but not by putting and/or missing the issue at hand. All that time of pain and glory is in the history books, and perhaps in museums down the road. Anyone interested in knowing and understanding what makes the horn of Africa what it is now should read and understand. Everyone should know his/her history but let us work to the Eritrea of tomorrow.
One thing as a note to consider and I agree here is that any interference of Eritrea now or in the near future in the internal affairs of the countries in the area will be futile to Eritrea and the rest. We have seen enough (Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, Ethiopia…). Perhaps this type of thinking could have been the thoughts of Eritrea and Eritrean leaders before but the time for it is not now and perhaps not ever. Making your own home safe, stronger, and prosperous should be a deterrent factor on itself to anyone and from anyone. As I had stated early on, Abiy was and still is in semi-honeymoon but he is learning. Ethiopia is at cross roads sadly to say. The killing of the singer in Ethiopia, recently, is not known as to what the motive is/was. Stop speculating until things are known. Furthermore, TPLF and Isaias have their own fundamental cancer. Abiy will come to his grips as events unfold but Eritreans need to stay focus in building a fair and just society.
Rather than becoming keyboard activist let us all use our expertise, money, know-how to act. Even if there is some pain in the process, if we use a clearly charted role and leadership, will bring Eritrea back to the map of nations. I hope every discussion going forward is with the intention on how to speed up the momentum for change one step forward.

Good discussion points over all.
