Mr Emmanuel, we hear you loud and clear. That is what is needed with Eritreans to tell us all like it is – so corrupt and so much lack of facts and truth with Eritreans.
Highlight:
At around 39 minutes in your discussion and conversation does hit home. If Eritrea has failed the fingers should be pointing at the person(s) leading for the last 30 years.
At 41 minutes of this conversation also right on. Enough of this none sense so called “unity”. We heard this for the last 30 yeas and 20 years of our time
At 48 minutes: excellent. Any nation is healthy when a boundary is safe and clearly delineated. Just like living in a community and the community has to be safe and healthy for any family unit to raise a family unit. That is why Tigrai is the same for Eritrea. Safety of Tigrai is safety for Eritreans. Do not be passive be active. This war is a war for few leaders in Eritrea. This war has no place for Eritreans to be part and involved.
And yes – Mr Emmanuael is right. From what we know through history Eritrea is independent because these very people died for Eritrea. Their Karma is their not ours to be part of and play a revenge. Their “Karma” we sure they are feeling it now but for Eritrea to be part of this evil and senseless war on itself is a “crime”.
The most truthful, painful, and fact every Eritrean to forget everything in this discussion and to just listen the portion starting from around 55 minutes in to this discussion to the end. Finally, Mr Emmanuel came to our bucket here and that is was needed since 1993.
Thank you assenna and Mr Emanuel for hitting hard to those of us all “would be” Eritreans.
101 missed opportunities, I’ve been saying that all along.. another one again presenting itself like a mouthwatering home made dish garnished attractively ready to be devoured.. what does it take for us folks!? have we forgot how to take a swing or we simply don’t know how to proceed? or are we using the impostor as a lid to cover the crimes we have committed for him?…. what is it? how can we let a putrid regime which expired decades ago keep reeking havoc upon us and fill the air with a decomposing stench?… one sure thing is Tigray is fighting and reminding us of the 1975 Eritrean revolutionary atmosphere one more time.
Much respect for you, our journalists. I know you will sometimes receive unjustified criticism from people who give just lip service to the suffering of the Eritrean people. Amanuel, your position on the current situation in Eritrea and Tigray is much admired.
Those proposing gov’t in exile now, in my opinion, have a sinister motive. I strongly believe our focus should be on the current war in Tigray and see what impact the war will bring in Eritrea.

The Mystery of Eritrea
Before 1871 —- Who was ruling Eritrea? Who knows?!?
1871 – 1891 20 years Under Italian occupation
1901 – 1931 30 years Continued under Italian occupation
1931 – 1961. 30 years Under British custodian and, in turn, under Ethiopia Governance
1961 -1991. 30 years Eritrea was in a war fighting Ethiopia, while — strange as it
seems— also fighting EACH OTHER at the same time !!! Let
history ponder over that strange phenomenon.
1991 – 2021 30 years Eritrea under a Dictator by the name of Issayas Afewerki Abraha
Miratch of Eritrea and/or/perhaps Ethiopia!!!
Forecast of the future:
No body predicts for sure but based on past history [and ‘habit’] of Eritrea, it may very well continue to fall under some sort of ‘colonialism’ of one nature or the other. It seems the old adage of “habit” is still effective i.e. being under a ‘master that does not let go’. Or, as in the old adage, there must be some sort of a curse that does not seem to go away. Poor
Eritrea!!!
By the way, what was Eritrea’s name before it was ‘cursed’ by the current mysterious name One can’t help wondering during leisiure pass time. In any case, it will not be shocking to assume that “Eritrea” may keep on going by strange developments of one sort or another for eternity — meaning that Eritreans may never have, sanity, tranquility and serenity of the Mind for eternity. THE END
Amaniel Eyassu: Woyane is dead and its Eritreans ploys, Yiakls, Kidans, assenna media, Alena media etc., are exposed and discredited. Tegaru are Ethiopians and should never be lumped with Sovereign Eritreans.Whatever problems they have, they need to solve it with own countrymen, the Ethiopians. Needless to say, I had tremendous suspicion about Isaias Afewerqi’s Eritrawnet but since his role in the demise of woyane, I have decided to stop my negative rhetoric against him for right now ,the time is calling upon all untarnished genuine patriotic Eritreans to rise up in unison to compel Eritrean Government deliver the dividend the Eritrean people deserve, whose prompt delivery is the Litmus Test of Isaias Afewerk’s Eritrawnet.
