When the liberators entered the Capital,the jubilant people greeted them hoisting a familiar symbol, waiving a green olive branch which is deeply rooted in the Eritrean culture in any celebration . It would be strange for Facebook to display the symbol of a competitor Twitter in its headquarters,wouldn’t it? this is one of the myriad examples the enemy encroached and settled in our psyche,folks you can’t fight and win a cause looking,acting and talking …like the enemy…you got to have an identity and you have to proudly display that identity,the world community is confused because they can’t tell which side belongs to who—–identity crisis?? When Lebron James came down to Miami,he did’t come wearing Cleveland jersey,he sported a new number in a new arena,galvanized a crazed Heat nation and delivered 2 championships back to back. Lets go back to basics,if we are fighting for our people,lets go back to the images and the psyche of our people to that day when they greeted us with joy at the gates of the Capital,freeze and bask in that moment,that encapsulated the epitome of Eritreanism, some Hassad didn’t like that and worked day and night to undo that with our own hand. rezen is just asking,haven’t we learned yet?
I am not sure Hidat if this is self consolation or self deception,whatever it is my dear forget harnet, today the very sovereignty of Eritrea is gravely compromised to the point nobody knows who is change of that little nation.I agree with you in one thing though ((ልዑል ጎይታ)) >>> we need the divine intervention,a miracle from above, a heavenly blinding lightning rod which struck Pilate.

Thank you for your comment on my opinion — it gives me confidence coming from an experienced individual who saw and immersed himself through thin and thick of it ALL. I only wish and pray that Eritreans would not take the History, Achievement and Ultimate Sacrifice made by ERITREAN LIBERATION FORCE in 30-year period. Such Glory should be taught in all Eritrean Schools in History Classes.. Is that being done, NOW?!?!?!? I dread of the possibility of getting a negative answer. OH! LORD, HAVE MERCY UPON ERITREANS.
