Dr Abiy traveled to Eritrea and what he witnessed is absolute destruction and loss. Looking at the city of Asmara and even right at the airport one could not help but wonder if the clock has rewindded back to a century. Dr Abiy said it right. Not only is he telling Eritrea and its dumb leaders the war resulted at a loss. Apparently, using Dr. Abiy’s word that this was apparent to him when Abiy visited Asmara.
Mr Isayas see it differently – “Eritrea or as Isayas puts the last 20 years as “we” did not and have not lost anything and in fact “we” are the same more or less if not have gained”. Well, So many young Eritrean became martyr and lost Eritrean land for absolutely to a worthless cause and Isayas still is dreaming.
I see it from a different angle than what Mr Isayas does: Mr. Isayas, you have lost big time since late 1990’s. You would not be able to erase your shame. Evil could win to a limited stretch and would not get to the finish line. Furthermore, I believe the late Prime minister Meles is the one who is a winner. At Meles’s term he checked out this word while Isayas was hiding in a tent out in no man’s land. Surly, the fate of Kadafi is painful. Eventually time will catch up with the leaders in Eritrea.
How two people in leader see the war fought:
